While we wait for Outlander Season 7B, we’re taking a look at some potential storylines. One of those is whether Arch Bug could return or not.

We are certainly more than ready for Outlander Season 7B. The bad news is that the season is not ready for us. The episodes are in post-production, and we’ll get to see them at some point in 2024.

Until then, we’ll need to speculate on some of the storylines. We can also look at the books for the way the storylines work there and what we could see adapted into the TV series. Don’t expect all the storylines to be used (there just isn’t the time!) but the main ones will be.

Will Arch Bug be in Outlander Season 7B?

Outlander has a minor antagonist in the form of Arch Bug. After Young Ian killed Mrs. Bug, believing her to be Arch, the guilt ate away at him. Ian told Arch that it was him, but made it clear that killing Rollo wasn’t an option. The crime wasn’t Rollo’s.

Arch made it clear that he wouldn’t kill Young Ian. Instead, he’s going to take someone important to Young Ian from him. We get a hint of who that is going to be at the end of Outlander Season 7A.

After Young Ian goes to Scotland with Claire and Jamie, we see Rachel walking in the woods with Rollo. Rollo comes up to Arch Bug, who he still trusts. After all, Arch has given Rollo no reason to believe he’s a danger just yet. As Arch learns that Ian is not around, Arch notes to Rachel that Ian must trust her a great deal. It’s clear the feeling is mutual, and Arch can see that.

Expect Arch to be back. We don’t even need the book storyline to know this. The Outlander Season 7A finale told us everything we needed to know that Arch will still be a threat. It won’t be until after Ian returns from Scotland, though.

Why is there such a long wait for Outlander Season 7B?. dark. Next
