Her first role was as Verity in the short Stretching the Play. She then went onto play Scarlett in another short called Happy New Year.
Slater is no stranger to period dramas. Fans of the rebooted All Creatures Great and Small may recognize Slater as Brenda in one episode back in 2020. She currently plays Clara Trenchard in Belgravia: The Next Chapter.
