Move onto Paper Girls
Sadly, there’s only one season of this Amazon series. I do recommend the graphic novels to continue the story.
Paper Girls sees a group of tweens end up decades in the future. They come across their future selves, find out what’s going on with the world, and realize that there are people after them who have outlawed time travel. Of course, that means they are acting against the law despite not actually meaning to travel to the future in the first place.
While all this happens, the tweens are figuring out who they are. There are topics like first periods, sexuality, and identity mixed in with the drama of time travel.
Watch Paper Girls on Prime Video.
Check out DC’s Legends of Tomorrow
If you want a superhero series with a bit of a fun twist, you’ll want to turn to DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. This series follows a group of villains and heroes who end up becoming the anti-heroes.
They need to travel through time to save the planet. This is both forward and back, as well as to different versions of Earth. After all, it is a DC series and there are multiverses. The aim is simple: prevent the supervillains from destroying the planet completely.
There are a lot of changes that come to the team throughout the seasons. Try not to get attached too much to anyone.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is available to stream on Netflix.
