Ben is a journalist in the '80s in Quantum Leap Season 2, Episode 11
After going back to the 1950s and heading out on a treasure hunt, Ben is now leaping to the 1980s. In Quantum Leap Season 2, Episode 11, he’s going to become an investigative journalist.
This episode is sure to be full of action just like any other episode. Ben finds himself in the middle of a potential conspiracy, and someone doesn’t want that coming out.
Meanwhile, there are problems in the present day. Ian’s secret dealings are about to come out. Will the team have his back? Well, of course. The question is if they can go up against the bad guy who is causing trouble.

The promo puts the focus on the case for Ben to figure out. He gets an anonymous call at the start of his leap. This call puts the character he’s in the body of on a mission to uncover a conspiracy. This could be as big as the Watergate scandal, and he wants to figure it all out. It’s like he becomes his alter-ego in the promo.
Of course, the uncovering of a conspiracy comes with problems. Someone doesn’t want the truth to come out, and Ben finds himself on the wrong side of a fight. Will he be able to work out what’s happened?
Quantum Leap 2x11 synopsis
While the synopsis gives us a little about Ben’s story, we also find out what’s going on in the present day. At the end of the previous episode, Rachael’s evil boss turned up. This guy is called Gideon Rydge, but what’s to say that’s his real name? There are plenty of theories that this guy is somehow connected to Hannah. There has to be a way for Ben and Hannah to end up together, right?
Ian’s secrets are about to come out. They were working with Rachael behind everyone’s backs for so long. Those secrets were sure to come out eventually, and they knew those secrets would hurt the team. Well, it’s time for everyone to back Ian up and get out of the mess without having Ziggy shut down before they all get Ben home.
