Can Ben find a way to be with Hannah in Quantum Leap Season 2?

Quantum Leap Season 1 was all about Ben remembering his own life and finding a way back home. Season 2 sees him fall for another girl.

Now, Ben is not a cad. He didn’t just suddenly fall for someone he just met. Ben had been missing and presumed dead for three years, so Addison moved on. Ben woke up in the next leap to find out all this had happened and had to move on from the woman he loved.

Hannah happened to come into his life in 1949 and then they met again in the 1950s. They came across each other again in the 1960s, and it’s clear that they have a lot in common and seem to be meant to be. However, Hannah has always met Ben in other bodies and has no idea what he actually looks like. It tells you that love could actually be blind.

Can Ben and Hannah be together in Quantum Leap?

Ben wants to be with Hannah and vice versa. The problem is, Ben isn’t from Hannah’s time. It makes things difficult when everyone is trying to get Ben home to his own time.

Is there a way for him to stay in the past? It would likely mean failing in a leap and not being able to move on. That would trap him in the body that he is in. And that’s as long as he gets to live in that body. This has never been done before. We have no idea what happens if Ben gets stuck without dying in that time. After all, nobody actually knows what happened to Sam in the OG series.

If everyone gets Ben back to his own time, is there even a way for him to go back? The program isn’t specific. Something else would need to be developed for Ben to go back to Hannah’s time. And then there’s the question of the morality of him leaping into someone else’s life and taking it over forever. He would need to figure out a way to travel in his own body.
