Outlander Season 8 leaked photos suggest Claire won't come into her full powers

The leaked photos of Outlander Season 8 have certainly had us discussing a few things. It comes down to the hair for a lot of characters, and right now, our focus is on Claire Fraser.

In Outlander Season 4, Claire was told that she would come into her full powers when her hair turns white. It has been a constant storyline in the books, and we’ve seen her develop her healing powers. It doesn’t look like this will be a big thing for Claire in the TV series.

Claire’s hair isn’t white in the Outlander Season 8 leaked photos

The leaked photos that Just Jared have are likely from the final episodes of the series. After all, we know that the table read for the last block—the last two episodes—happened just recently. This has led to fans speculating about the way things can end.

One thing fans have pointed out is that Claire’s hair isn’t fully white. In the books, her hair has gradually turned more and more white, and she has come into her healing powers. They were important in Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, and they’re sure to be needed in the final book. However, things don’t seem to be playing out in the final season of the series.

Claire’s hair is still mostly grey. There are bits of white in there, which could mean that we see some of her healing powers. However, it doesn’t look like it.

Claire’s powers haven’t been mentioned a lot in Outlander

The series hasn’t put a lot of focus on the healing powers. We saw Master Raymond heal Claire in Outlander Season 2, and then we had the moment in Season 4 where she learned that she would come into her full powers. She didn’t really understand what that meant, but we had a tease of things from the books.

The show hasn’t made a big deal of things since. In the books, Claire’s abilities grow considerably in Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone. We see her heal multiple people, and we had hoped to see some of that in the series, but we have to remain realistic in that this series hasn’t put that focus on Claire. She continues to use medical ways to heal people, and she hates being viewed of as a witch, which having healing powers would lead to.

I guess we shouldn’t have really gotten our hopes up that we would see Claire come into her healing powers with this in mind. Of course, it doesn’t mean we won’t see it in the finale, but the leaked photos for Outlander Season 8 suggest that it won’t happen.
