Outlander Season 7A did not disappoint. The series stuck relatively close to the books, despite pulling storylines from three different books in the series. It also brought us the funnier moments of the stories, including Tom Christie’s kiss!
Now our eyes are on when the second half of the story will arrive. We knew Outlander Season 7 would be split in two parts. It was something we speculated as soon as we learned the season would have 16 episodes instead of 12. Now we just want to know when we’ll get it.
These episodes will arrive some time in 2024. That’s a given. In fact, STARZ made sure we knew that as soon as we got the Season 7A premiere date!
When could Outlander Season 7B arrive in 2024?
While there hasn’t been any promotional footage of the second half of the season, there is still a chance that we could get the season in early 2024. February or March would be great timing, especially since those months have been used in the past.
However, we may need to wait a little longer and that may be linked to the strike action from this summer. It’s not because this series was caught heavily in the strike action, but that the strike action will have caused issues for STARZ’s scheduling. Some shows that were planned for later in 2024 may not happen until 2025 now, so STARZ will have to look at its schedule again.
As much as fans will hate the Droughtlander, we are used to it and STARZ knows that. On top of that, delaying the show for scheduling purposes isn’t going to mean we won’t watch. Of course we’re tuning in, and again, STARZ knows that. It’s just annoying that it’s our show potentially pushed back. This is pure speculation, though, and us looking at a worst-case scenario to prepare. Prepare for the worst and love the good news as it happens.
As soon as we have a premiere date, we’ll be sure to share it with you. At least we know Outlander Season 7B is coming in 2024.
