These are the five Outlander episodes we recommend watching tonight. They’re in episode number order.
Outlander Season 1, Episode 4
You could head all the way back to the start, but we recommend starting with Episode 4. This is the episode where Jamie and Dougal get into it in the game of shinty. While everyone else is watching football, why not check out an episode that involves an older sport?
Outlander Season 1, Episode 11
What about the episode when Claire is accused of being a witch? This is an intense episode, as we see Claire and Geillis taken and on trial for witchcraft. The town is against both of them, but there is a chance for Claire to save herself as long as Geillis is willing to die. Don’t worry; Jamie comes in to save the day!
Outlander Season 2, Episode 10
There are a few heartbreaking episodes of Outlander, and we start with a Season 2 one. It’s all about Prestonpans. This episode is great if you’re missing the action of the football. There’s plenty of action in this episode as we watch the Jacobite victory at Prestonpans. It just comes with the loss of an important member of our favorite clan.
Outlander Season 3, Episode 1
The Outlander Season 3 premiere brings us flashes of the Battle of Culloden, bringing some action for the night. This is also the first episode of Claire and Jamie separated by time, and they both show struggles of dealing with that. For Claire, we see some years pass. For Jamie, it’s all about surviving the night.
