As you can tell, we’re coming to the end of Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone. Diana Gabaldon is still working on the 10th Outlander book. So, where do we go from here?

This has been on my mind as I got into the ninth book in the series. I knew that I was going to come to the end of the book before the 10th book was available to read.

The great thing about Diana Gabaldon’s world is that she hasn’t just written about Claire and Jamie. There are novellas and short stories to read as well.

The Outlander Book Club will move onto the Lord John Grey series

After looking at the different options, I thought the Lord John Grey series would make sense to move onto next.

Of course, this is going to be a little different compared to the main book club. Right now, there are no plans to adapt the series. I’m going to pretend that there is an option to bring a Lord John Grey series. After all, I try not to say “never” when it comes to anything in production. So, I’ll still have an adaptation section in the posts.

This will look at whether the chapter could be used in an adaptation or not. If it wouldn’t work, I’ll share why. If it would, I’ll go into how I think it could be adapted.

What I am going to skip is the foreshadowing. You see, I’m going to be reading some of these books for the first time. I’ve only read the first book so far. I wanted to keep my focus on the main series. So, I simply don’t know what could come up.

I do feel like this is the best way to keep the Book Club going. After all, I’m not ready to stop enjoying the books with you!
