Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

This chapter doesn’t foreshadow much that I see. The only thing I question is whether there’s a connection to Jamie talking about David being the name of kings. There is always that prophecy that involves the last of the line from the Lovats. Is it possible that David is the connection to that prophecy?

That prophecy hasn’t been mentioned since getting rid of Geillis, though. I don’t think a lot of people put much weight into it.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

I definitely see at least some of this chapter being used. It will likely be a small moment at the start of an episode, similar to the way Mandy’s birth was. We need to see this third child, I think. After all, we later find out something important about David through Mandy.

There doesn’t need to be a lot of focus on David’s arrival, though. However, I do hope that Fanny is included in the show, because I really want to see her comment about never getting married. It just really made me smile considering her age but also her interest in the medical field. She is so great for Claire to have around.
