Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

This chapter has a lot going on, but I don’t think it helps push too much forward in the story. It’s only at the very end that clearly sets up the next part of Amaranthus’s story.

It is hard to say what is foreshadowing at this point, though. We’re so close to the end of Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, and we don’t have the 10th book out just yet.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

I don’t expect to see much of this chapter used in the TV series. I don’t see Hal being used at all. There just isn’t the time for everything. However, I do see Amaranthus being used. There could be a way to make some of this chapter work without both of the Grey brothers around.

I guess Lord John Grey could be involved in this part of the story. It would make sense for David Berry to be in at least one episode of the final season. He could end up with looking after Trevor while William deals with the next part of the story.
