Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

This chapter certainly foreshadows Amaranthus’s betrayal. It’s making it clear that she is not everything she claims to be. She knows that Ben is still alive, and yet she is flirting with William. Why would she do that? Why is she not missing her husband?

We know that she is working with others. That bit seems clear by the end of the book. What is she really up to?

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

We know that there wasn’t time to add Dottie into Outlander Season 7. I don’t think we’ll see her in the final season either, but that doesn’t mean this chapter can’t happen. There is still a chance that the Ben storyline will be included as it links to Amaranthus and Captain Richardson. We could also see Denny being used within this storyline even though Dottie isn’t included.

I think this would be a great storyline for William to see play out in the show. He is learning that his family is keeping more and more secrets. Adam knew Ben was still alive but let Hal and others believe he was dead. What is it with this family and secrets? This could be heavily explored for William as he deals with his own family truths coming out.
