A new Outlander Season 7B photo teases Buck's health problems
At the end of Outlander Season 7A, Buck and Roger went through the stones in search for Jemmy. Their journey is going to take a twist in Outlander Season 7B.
There hasn’t been a lot of focus on Roger and Buck when the teases for Outlander Season 7B come out. That’s partly due to the need to keep some of this storyline a secret. However, it’s clear that we will see them in a time period they weren’t expecting. After all, there are photos of Geillis and Dougal, and neither of them are alive in 1778.
Entertainment Weekly has shared a couple of other new images. One of them is of Roger and Buck as they have clearly just landed in the past on the other side of the stones. It hints a very important storyline for Buck is coming up.
Does Buck have health problems in Outlander Season 7B?
I wasn’t sure if this storyline would be included in the show. The series hasn’t really put the focus on the dangers of time travel. It hasn’t shared how people feel as they go through the stones. Yet, the image of Buck and Roger tells me that this storyline is going to be included.
It’s all about Buck’s heart problems. When Buck goes through the stones in Written in My Own Heart’s Blood, he suffers with heart complications. He’d be dead if it wasn’t for another time traveler and healer. Buck and Roger meet Dr. McEwan, who uses the blue light to heal Buck.
In the photo from Entertainment Weekly, we can see Buck on the ground and holding his chest. It looks like we’ll get to see him have his heart attack, and that could mean Dr. McEwan is coming into the story. Does that mean other healing parts of the story will be included? Maybe it’s just the part of heal Buck to add more drama around the traveling through the stones and to remind us of how dangerous it is.
Outlander Season 7B premieres on Friday, Nov. 22 on Starz.
