Geillis Duncan
Outlander Season 1 introduced us to a woman who seemed like she could have been a great friend to Claire. Geillis Duncan had knowledge of herbs, and it was clear she was rather worldly compared to the other women of the time. It didn’t take too long to find out that she was another time traveler.
Things looked to end badly for a rather innocent woman at first. It was in the second and then third seasons that we found out just how toxic she was. She was willing to kill to time travel and would do what it took for Scotland to gain independence from England.
Louise de la Tour
I know some of you will want to say that Louise de la Tour isn’t toxic. After all, she was there when Claire had her stillbirth and helped encourage Claire to allow Mother Hildegard and others to take baby Faith away. However, that was one sweet moment in a mixture of some terrible ones.
Louise held a high position in society. That meant she looked down on others, whether it was for their sense of style, their meekness, or their own position in society. She was the stereotypical It Girl of her time, and that made her insufferable.
