2 main storylines not to expect in Outlander Season 8
The Outlander TV show cannot fit everything from the books in. This is something that has come up in the past, and it’s definitely an issue in Outlander Season 8.
The eighth season is the last, and there are only 10 episodes to wrap up the story. The season isn’t going to wrap up the storyline from the books. It’s all about bringing the TV story version of events to an end.
This does mean that there are two particular storylines that will not be covered in the TV series in the end. This may disappoint people, but it does mean there’s a lot in the books for fans to enjoy.
Jamie’s ghost will not be explained in Outlander Season 8
One of the storylines that won’t be covered in Outlander Season 8 is Jamie’s ghost. The ghost popped up in the series premiere, and it immediately had people talking. Of course, we knew who the ghost was based on the looks of the character.
Diana Gabaldon brought us Jamie’s ghost in the first book. She has always made it clear that the ghost is Jamie, and we will get answers as to how and why he’s there in the 10th and final book.
It’s never been a huge plot point in the TV series, so it’s not surprising that this storyline isn’t going to be used in the end.
Claire won’t get her full powers in Outlander Season 8
Fans were quick to notice hair colors in the leaked photos of Outlander Season 8. One hair color in particular is Claire’s hair. It’s not white, and this means that she won’t come into her full power.
The books have constantly included Claire talking about her hair color. She knows that once her hair turns white, she will come into her full power. In Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, she starts to see some of this happen.
While the show has included the mention of powers in Season 4, it’s not been a reoccurring thing. So, we’re not expecting this to come up in the final season.
