We will soon get another season of Interview with the Vampire. Take a look at an extended sneak of the season from AMC.
Interview with the Vampire has certainly made some changes from the original story. The interview stage has been moved up to 2022, while the past spans decades. In fact, we’re into 1940s Paris in the upcoming season.
In the past, we’re picking up with the aftermath of Louis and Claudia conspiring to kill Lestat. Of course, we know how that story should go, but it doesn’t mean it will. At least the trailer hints that Lestat is definitely back, and not just as some sort of figment of Louis’s tortured soul.
Louis meets the Theatre Des Vampires in Interview with the Vampire Season 2
We already knew that this season would introduce the vampire Armand. Well, we would get to see him in the past. It’s time to see how Louis and Armand meet, and how they connect. This is an affair of the heart, and one that is going to have consequences in both the past and the present day.
In the past, we get to see Claudia struggle with Louis choosing Armand as his companion. That means someone else chosen over her, and she can’t understand why she isn’t enough. It’s so hard for her to be stuck inside a teen body. After all, despite her actual age, all anyone else sees is a teenager.
Then there’s the Theatre Des Vampires. Louis wants to find vampires who are like him and Claudia. He needs to find those who are good, but is that really what the Theatre Des Vampires will offer? After all, they are more than willing to feed on people in front of the whole world. It all looks like a show.
In the present day, Molloy wants to delve deeper into Louis’s memories. He may want to watch out for Louis, though. Armand isn’t the vampire to fear.
