Outlander season 7A is not heading to Netflix in November 2024 (When can we expect it?)
November 2024 does bring us the good news that Outlander season 7B will premiere on STARZ. The bad news is for those who watch it on Netflix. There is still a wait for new episodes.
Outlander season 7A is not heading to Netflix just yet. That’s not surprising for most, but it is disappointing for those who want to catch up on the series without another streaming platform. Of course, we highly recommend getting STARZ to be able to catch up and watch the new episodes as they arrive.
When could Outlander season 7A come to Netflix?
We’re not all that sure if Netflix will get the first half of the season on its own. STARZ could want Netflix to wait for the full season, which is going to delay the release further. However, Canada has the first eight episodes already—and I believe Netflix Australia does to. This does suggest that the United States platform will get the release.
When will that be? We’re looking at 2025. To be more specific, we’re looking at Aug. 11, 2025.
You see, STARZ and Netflix have a two-year waiting window. The two years starts from the release of the finale, so that would mean the season 7A finale. It means that a lot of episodes can remain exclusive to STARZ to help keep up the subscriptions there. After all, it takes so long to film new seasons.
Will Outlander season 7B eventually come to Netflix?
If STARZ has told Netflix to wait until the Outlander season 7 finale in full, then we’re going to have to wait longer. The Outlander season 7 finale is set to air around Friday, Jan. 17, 2025. That means that we’ll have to wait until Jan. 17, 2027 for the full season to head to Netflix.
I do think that Netflix will get it in parts, though. I think we’ll see season 7A in 2025, and then Netflix will get the rest of the season in 2027. This still keeps content exclusive to STARZ for a while as Outlander season 8 is expected around 2026.
