The images for Outlander season 7, episode 14 are now available, and they give us a good look at some of the events that will happen in the episode. One of those is Lord John Grey reuniting with Jamie and Claire.
The synopsis and promo made it clear that Outlander season 7, episode 14 would focus on three storylines. We’d see Lord John Grey in a sticky situation, and some focus on William as Captain Richardson would send him on a mission. Then there’s Brianna in 1980, who is ready to defend her home.
The images tell us a little more about what’s going to happening, including some returning and new faces.
Lord John Grey makes it back home in Outlander season 7, episode 14
The images make it clear that Lord John Grey will make it back home. However, things aren’t looking good. Jamie is holding onto Lord John Grey tightly while Claire stands in front of him.
The last we saw of Lord John Grey, he was found by an American militia. Well, it looks like he’ll end up in the hands of Jamie Fraser again. This could be a good thing for John, though. He needs Claire to look at his eye to treat it.
What will Jamie do next? Would he really consider turning his friend over as a traitor and spy knowing that it would get him hanged? No matter how angry he is with John right now, the idea of him allowing John to die is crazy.
John’s storyline will bring a familiar face, though. Sam Hoare returns as Hal Grey. We’ve heard him mentioned already this season, so it will be good to see him.
There’s also a man in a blue uniform that will stand out for fans of the books. Percy Wainwright Beauchamp is coming into the story.
Jane turns to William for help in Outlander season 7, episode 14
The images also show us more of Jane, who we met a couple of episodes ago. As William tried to figure out who he is, he ended up in bed with Jane, known as Arabella in the brothel. Well, remember that William “bought” her to make sure Captain Harkness didn’t get his hands on her. If the series follows the book, that’s going to come up in this episode.
It looks like it will play out this way. Jane isn’t alone, with a young girl next to her. Is this going to be Fanny, Jane’s sister?
There is also the image of William with a group of men in blue coats. We know he’ll be sent on a mission by Captain Richardson, and it looks like this is it. What will happen as William ends up in the hands of the enemy?
A couple of images of Brianna and Young Ian
There are two images that involve other storylines. One is Young Ian and Rachel, as they sit by the fireplace.
There’s then a photo of Brianna, and we know that she’s heading back to Lallybroch to protect her home. Rob Cameron has help, and she needs to make sure her children are safe. Is it still safe in 1980, though?
Outlander airs on Fridays on STARZ.
