Outlander season 7, episode 13 brings us a story across three timelines again. There’s another returning face in Brianna’s storyline—and we don’t mean the obvious!
Yes, that’s Iona Claire you can spot in one of the images released from the episode, titled “Hello, Goodbye.” She’s holding the box with the letters instead, which suggests that Bree is going to turn to Fiona for some help in protecting the letters that have led to the trouble for the MacKenzie family.
Meanwhile, we get to see more of Claire, Jamie, Denny, and Roger through the new images released for the episode.
Brianna needs to keep her family safe in Outlander season 7, episode 13
Brianna has found out that Jemmy isn’t in the past. Rob Cameron never took him through the stones, but left the scarf there to make the MacKenzies think that he did. That got Roger out of the way so that Rob could force Bree to do his bidding. Well, Bree isn’t that easy to manipulate, and we know that she’ll keep Rob as her prisoner to get answers as to where her son is.
She’ll also turn to a friend, Fiona. With Fiona knowing all about time travel, it makes sense for Bree to hand the letters to her. At least there will be no questions about the contents if she ever decides to read them. However, doesn’t that put Fiona at risk considering Rob surely isn’t acting on his own?
Roger and Buck continue their trip through 1739
There are also some images of Roger and Buck in Outlander season 7, episode 13. The two are on the hunt for Roger’s father, Jerry, who is trapped somewhere in the time. Roger is excited, as this could potentially change history for him. Was Jerry always trapped in the past? I’m surprised he hasn’t thought about how it could change history.
That doesn’t matter at this point, though. Roger knows that he’s in 1739 for his dad, and he will do what it takes to find him and figure to the next plan. What happens when he meets his dad, though, consider the time his dad comes from, Roger is just a toddler?
More of Denny Hunter in Outlander season 7, episode 13
The episode will also take us back to 1778, where we spent the whole of the previous episode. There’s a lot to pick up on, but the images only focus on a handful of storylines. It looks like Denny Hunter is going to get more screentime, and he comes across Henry Grey. Denny helped John Grey escape the Rebel camp, but it’s not going to be an easy trip back. Denny will need to get a message to Henry and the rest of the family about what’s happened.
There looks to be an interaction between Denny and Jamie. Denny knows that Jamie was the one to injure John so badly, and he’s a Quaker, so he doesn’t believe in violence. He’s sure to have some choice words for Jamie, especially since Denny knows what Claire faced and what everyone went through when believing that Jamie was dead.
