Outlander season 7, episode 10 images: Claire arrives in Philadelphia
Claire and Young Ian make it to Philadelphia in Outlander season 7, episode 10 based on the images released. Most of the released photos are focused on Claire’s storyline.
Droughtlander came to an end after more than a year, and it came to an end in a bittersweet style. Just as Claire, Jamie, and Young Ian made it back to Lallybroch, Claire and Young Ian had to leave. Lord John Grey wrote to Claire to ask for her help to save his nephew.
The end of the episode saw Claire leave, with Young Ian to accompany her across the ocean. Jamie couldn’t leave due to Ian not having much time left, so he had to trust Claire’s safety in Young Ian.
Claire and Young Ian make it to Philadelphia in Outlander season 7, episode 10
There is some good news. Claire and Young Ian do make it to Philadelphia. The images for the episode give us a look at the two in a scene together and separately.
Claire makes it to be able to perform surgery on Lord John Grey’s nephew. That, naturally, means that Lord John Grey and Claire will share some screen time. He needs to share with Claire everything that has happened to his nephew.
We will also see some time between Denny and Claire. This makes a lot of sense considering how much Denny is learning from Claire. He hasn’t turned his nose up at Claire’s work simply because she’s a woman. He sees her skill, and he is eager to learn from her. Surely we’ll see him want to see how the surgery on Henry Grey is done.
There are also some images of Claire with a Black woman, who we know is going to be Mercy Woodcock. Outlander already told us that Mercy would be part of the seventh season. If you recognize the surname, there’s a reason for it. In the books, Mercy is connected to Walter Woodcock. Will Claire learn this and be able to offer her an update about her husband?
Jamie remains in Scotland in Outlander season 7
For now, Jamie Fraser is still in Scotland. He needs to be there for Ian in his final moments, and we’ll get to see him spend some time with Ian alone. That was clear from the promo.
Well, the images for the episode give us a look at Jamie and Jenny spending some time together. This is going to be needed considering their sibling bond. They have been each other’s rocks at other times, and we just haven’t had enough of them together considering all the circumstances around their storylines.
If the show goes the way of the books, we can expect a lot more of Jenny Murray. The question is whether that will happen, or whether there is a small change to the storyline due to other needs in the writing.
Roger and Buck deal with Geillis Duncan
We can’t overlook the single photo of Roger and Buck MacKenzie. At the end of the previous episode, Roger got Buck to a healing woman in Cranesmuir. That woman turned out to be Geillis Duncan, and Roger knows what he’s getting himself into with her.
Buck doesn’t. On top of that, Buck is Geillis’s son, but Geillis has no idea about him just yet. They’re in 1739! Will Buck trust Roger when Roger says how much of an evil woman Geillis is?
