On Friday, Feb. 6, we were treated to an early episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. That isn’t going to be the case today, Friday, Feb. 13. No matter how much you keep refreshing HBO Max, you won’t see an episode appear — and it’s got nothing to do with your subscription.

The early episode last Friday was due to the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 8. HBO would go up against the huge event, and to make sure people didn’t have to choose too much, the company dropped the episode early on the streaming platform HBO Max. With nothing major going on now (except the Winter Olympics) it’s time to get the schedule back on track.

When will A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms season 1 episode 5 air?

Instead of airing today, Friday, Feb. 13, the episode will move back to its Sunday night schedule. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms season 1 episode 5 will air on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 10/9c on HBO and HBO Max.

Yes, it’s disappointing, especially considering the way the fourth episode ended. However, we were simply treated to an earlier release last week for a major sporting event. Of course, HBO is going to try to stick to its regular weekly release.

What to expect on A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms season 1 episode 5

The new episode will see Dunk go up against Aerion in the Trial of Seven. He has his six knights to fight with him, one of whom is Prince Baelor. Baelor made a surprise decision at the end of the previous episode to join Dunk’s side, noting that while yes, it means going up against his nephew, he knows that Dunk was just trying to protect the innocent.

Baelor also knows that the Kingsguard won’t be allowed to harm him. This gives Dunk’s side a bit of an edge if Baelor can make sure the fight remains focused between him and the Kingsguard. However, how save is Baelor? We all know that good people die in the Game of Thrones universe, and Baelor seems like one of the good ones.

No, we’re not looking at the books for spoilers just yet. This is just based on what we know about this universe.

The Trial of Seven will need to play out, and this could mean the end of a few characters. Could Dunk take the life of Aerion? After all, with this series renewed for a second season, we can’t lose the main character, but is he willing to do what needs to be done to win the trial?

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms airs Sundays at 10/9c on HBO and HBO Max.
