Eliza and Blake are trying their hardest to keep their relationship a secret on Miss Scarlet season 6, but the secret is slowly starting to come out. Blake worries that his new employee knows, while Clarence seems to have figured it out on Miss Scarlet season 6 episode 2.
It was only a matter of time before people would find out. The two aren’t acting the way they usually do around each other, and that means one of two things. Either they absolutely hate each other, or they’ve fallen for each other — and it’s clear that it’s not the former!
Willows has an important question on Miss Scarlet season 6 episode 2
Blake starts to panic in the trailer for Miss Scarlet season 6 episode 2. Detective Willows has a question that relates to the two of them, although he doesn’t know that and he doesn’t know Blake or Eliza well enough to realize something is going on between them.
Willows wants to know if it’s inappropriate for a cop to have a relationship with a woman who works with him. This is clearly linked to the blossoming romance between Willows and Isobel from the first episode, which ended with Willows asking her on a date after explaining his living situation. Of course, the topic of workplace relationships is going to come up, but Blake thinks they’re coming up for another reason.
Has someone mentioned that he and Eliza are getting closer? With Ivy now finding out — because Blake told Eliza to confide in someone — it’s possible that Blake worries that she has loose lips. But she doesn’t. Out of everyone in the show, Ivy can keep secrets well, so he has nothing to worry about there.
Clarence figures out the truth on Miss Scarlet
It looks like Eliza has someone to be concerned about, though. Clarence seems to have worked out what’s going on.
Throughout the Miss Scarlet season 6 premiere, Clarence wondered why Eliza and Blake had fallen out. He was sure that Eliza had done something to annoy Blake, which would make sense considering Eliza’s nature. However, that’s not the case, and now Clarence realizes that they’re not getting work from Scotland Yard for another reason.
And while it is a good reason, Scotland Yard needs Eliza, and vice versa. Eliza and Blake work well together, just like William and Eliza did. They’re also interested in getting justice and answers, and it’s no wonder that Eliza is likely to be pulled in on another case. This one involves a divorcing couple, a horse, and a future that Blake and Eliza may fear.
The divorce of a high society couple causes scandal when their settlement becomes public and their prize racehorse goes missing. The horse has disappeared from its stable and each party blames the other. It’s a case with blackmail, murder and two people at its center who hate each other. Is it a warning for Eliza and Blake about what could happen to them?
