A new episode of Outlander: Blood of My Blood is here, so you’ll want to make sure you have the time available. After all, these are not episodes that you’ll want to be interrupted while watching.
As with previous episode, Outlander: Blood of My Blood season 1, episode 6 will drop tonight, Friday, Sept. 5 at midnight ET on STARZ, with a release on Thursday, Sept. 4 in other time zones. However, if you’re waiting for it to air on the channel, you’ll need to wait until 8 p.m. ET/PT on the channel.
This makes it even more important to know how long the episode is, as you may decide to stay up late to watch it. Just how late are you going to bed?
Outlander: Blood of My Blood season 1, episode 6 length
The episode is just a tiny bit shorter than the previous episodes. It comes in at just over 57 minutes, so just a couple of minutes shorter than the more recent episodes, but still long enough to get plenty of content into the episode.
The episode length does include the opening and closing credits, as usual. This means that the episode is only around 53 to 55 minutes long. You’ll also see it longer on the STARZ schedule, but this factors in the promos that are shown either side of the channel.
Outlander: Blood of My Blood season 1, episode 6 is set to be focused on Henry and Julia’s story once more. We know that Julia is going to go into labor, and it looks like Henry finally gets word as to where she is. The downside is that she is still a ways away. On top of that, Henry is going to get some potentially bad news about both mother and child.
Episode 6 of the Outlander prequel likely isn’t going anywhere anytime soon
Can you not watch the episode as soon as it drops on the STARZ app? There’s no need to worry about that. After all, it will air on the channel in the evening. There will also be reruns throughout the weekend.
Still, if you can’t watch the episode by the end of the weekend, there is still some good news. You’re not going to lose access to the episode. I know there are concerns as some shows have been removed off the STARZ platform and other platforms in recent past, but that’s not to happen with Outlander: Blood of My Blood.
As we’ve mentioned at Claire and Jamie before, the show has a second season and there are more episodes to come. STARZ isn’t going to get rid of the new episode any time soon.
