With Outlander coming to an end, it’s time for the sets to be dismantled. Actors tend to get to take something from the set, and some just take what they can. What will Sam Heughan take?

Outlander Season 8 is going to be bittersweet. We’ll be happy that the show is back, but it will be for the final season. Production starts up soon for the season, and Sam Heughan talked to Graham Norton about the end to the series.

Of course, the topic of what Sam will take from the set came up. It turns out that he’s already taken some things from the set, although he didn’t elaborate on what those items were. One thing we know he hasn’t taken is the kilt. Will he get to take it at the end of the series?

What will Sam Heughan take from the Outlander set?

Heughan joked that he would take everything he could when Norton asked him if he’d take the kilt. Anything that isn’t nailed down is going with Heughan if he gets a say.

Out of everything, it would be great for Heughan to get the kilt. This will depend on auctioning, though. A lot of sets and costumes are auctioned off. Some are used by other sets, while others are put in galleries. We could see the costumes from Outlander being set to somewhere to put them on show. After all, they are all so beautiful!

If there is a spare Fraser kilt, it should go to Heughan. Supernatural fans were delighted to learn that Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki got their own Impalas from their set, and Jamie’s kilt is the equivalent to that on Outlander.

While talking about what to take, Heughan also shared that he’s spoken to Eleanor Tomlinson, who he stars with on The Couple Next Door, about what it’s like to end such a big show. Take a look at the full interview below:
