It’s official; Bridgerton Season 3 is coming back in 2024. What’s on Netflix spotted the leaked date without an official announcement from Netflix. Well, now it’s time for Netflix to confirm when and how the show will be released.
There is some great news. That leaked date (well, dates) was correct. Bridgerton Season 3 will come out on Netflix on Friday, May 16, 2024.
Will Bridgerton Season 3 be split in two parts?
Something that fans noticed was that there were two dates on the banner. The first half of the season was set to arrive on May 16, and then the second season was set for June 13. Is that going to be the case, or has Netflix changed its mind?
Sadly for fans, this is a season that is split in two. Both of the dates were correct, with the second half of the season coming out on Friday, June 13, 2024. At least Bridgerton fans aren’t waiting as long as Outlander fans for the second half of a season! It’s not even like this drought has been as long as Droughtlander!
The downside for fans is that there are only eight episodes to the season as a whole, so four episodes will drop in each block. At least Outlander fans got eight episodes in Outlander Season 7A alone!
The third season will follow Penelope, who is giving up on her crush of Colin after the words he said last season. But she also knows that she needs to take a husband, and one who will allow her to give her the independence she craves from her mother and sisters. She needs to keep her Lady Whistledown alter ego a secret, but there is a threat to that when it comes to her rift with Eloise.
Meanwhile, Colin has a new look and swagger after his summer travels. He doesn’t like that Penelope is giving him the cold shoulder, and realizes just how Penelope used to feel about him. Will he make things right, or will he search for a wife elsewhere?
