Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

I don’t get much foreshadowing in this chapter. In the previous one, I could see how Young Ian was thinking of Emily and how the situation was different. In this chapter, I see more focus on how a group of strangers can end up being kinder than people the Hardmans have known for years. We get this look at how it takes just a couple of people to care for Silvia to break down. Now they need to save her from her own madness.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

While I could definitely see the Murrays traveling north in Outlander Season 8, I doubt that we’ll see the Hardman storyline being included. I just don’t see their introduction coming into the story via Jamie.

This could create a sense of drama in the journey north for the Murrays. However, there is going to be enough with Emily’s storyline to handle. I don’t think this storyline will take more than an episode or two if it is used, so there’s no need to add too much of the storyline in. There just won’t be time in the 10-episode final season when there will be so much more to wrap up in other storylines.
