While STARZ is the permanent home of Outlander, we know that eventually Outlander Season 6 will come to Netflix. When will that happen?
Our eyes are currently on when we’ll be able to watch Outlander Season 6 on Netflix. Of course, the episodes are on STARZ. That’s the home for the show, but that doesn’t mean we always have a STARZ subscription running. We’re more like to keep Netflix going because of the amount of content on the app.
So, our eyes are on when we’ll get the more recent seasons of the series on Netflix. It’s not coming in November 2023. This is for the U.S. subscribers. Different countries have different licensing agreements, so we’re not looking at each of them. It’s all about when Netflix U.S. gets the content.
When will Outlander Season 6 come to Netflix?
We’re not expecting the release to happen any time soon. In fact, we’re not expecting it in 2023 at all.
From the start, we’ve said May 1, 2024. This follows the pattern of the third, fourth, and fifth seasons coming out. The first two seasons were released together as Netflix and STARZ came to an agreement. After that, we got the next season two years after the finales aired on STARZ. So, the Outlander Season 6 finale aired on May 1, 2022. That takes us to 2024 for the release on Netflix.
What about Season 7A? That’s the biggest question mark. It is possible that the split in the season will lead to the first half of the season arriving on Netflix in 2025. It’s also possible that we’ll need to wait for the full season. That depends on the contract—and whether Netflix will still license the show at that point.
