Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

This chapter puts the focus on the plot for Rachel and Young Ian. They are getting ready to head north, which is sure to bring a lot of danger and some surprises. Rachel is worried about the danger, and it looks like part of her doesn’t want to go. There isn’t that much in foreshadowing going on here, though.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

I would love to see the chapter used for the TV series. I want to see more of Rachel and Jenny’s relationship on the screen. I’m just not sure if that’s going to happen. The problem is the time available.

We just have to look at how Jenny and Claire’s relationship could have been adapted a little fuller. I don’t think we saw enough—although, maybe some of that is a “what could have been” approach.

The chapter itself does offer more plot for Ian and Rachel, and we have seen the two of them a fair bit in Outlander Season 7A. This does offer some hope that we’ll see plenty of them in the TV series. I would love to bring some sort of closure to the Emily and Ian storyline, which I feel like the lead up to this offers.
