While we wait for Outlander Season 7B, we take the time to look at the characters who may or may not be back. What about Alexander Vlahos as Allan Christie?

We know that we’re not getting Outlander Season 7B until 2024. It’s set to follow the rest of Book 7, An Echo in the Bone, as well as events in Book 8, Written in My Own Heart’s Blood. There is certainly some exciting things to come.

Of course, eyes are on which characters are likely to come back, and which ones aren’t. There are a few we do expect, including the obvious like Claire, Jamie, Bree, and Roger. There are some that we’re not too sure about and others that we know are unlikely to return.

What about Allan Christie? Could we see Alexander Vlahos back in Outlander Season 7B? What are the chances?

Allan Christie will not be in Outlander Season 7B

We’re going out on a limb in saying that Allan Christie will not return. Of course, never say “never,” but there is no need for Allan to be back. That storyline is done.

Vlahos was in one episode of the seventh season. It was a chance to bring closure to the Malva Christie storyline, as we found out not only who killed Malva but who the father of her baby was. In fact, that closure was rather final. While Claire prevented Allan from killing himself, Young Ian decided that death was the only option.

Allan Christie is dead and buried. Mrs. Bug even helped the two bury the body, taking that secret to her own grave. There’s a very slim chance that we’ll see Allan return, unless the show brings back more ghosts. And considering the way Outlander opened, we know ghosts are a possibility if the series really wants to go down that route.
