Did you spot Tim Downie in Good Omens Season 2? If you watched it, you couldn’t miss him. Who does he play in the comedic series?

We love to follow the Outlander actors in other projects. Sometimes, their appearances haven’t been reported, and I feel like that was the case for Tim Downie. I had no idea he was going to be in the show until he popped up.

Suddenly, the mustache he’d been sporting for some time made sense. After all, his character was perfect with that mustache. It just added to the type of character that he was set to play, and his acting abilities certainly fit in with the likes of David Tennant and Michael Sheen in this series.

Who was Tim Downie in Good Omens Season 2?

You couldn’t miss Tim Downie in the series. He showed up in the bar at first—and he was the reason Aziraphale made it clear why he doesn’t like to go outside. Then he showed up at the bookstore the night of the meeting that turned into something completely different.

Downie is Mr. Brown, and we all know a Mr. Brown. Every condo board, HOA, or even any organization has a Mr. Brown.

He is a stickler for the rules, and he expects everyone to take part in events. His first scene is to make it clear that Aziraphale needs to host the next shopkeepers’ meeting. It’s not something Aziraphale wants to do, especially with the Gabriel situation to deal with, but Mr. Brown doesn’t give him much of a choice. After all, Mr. Brown thinks that he runs the entire organization.

Good Omens Season 2 is now available to stream in full on Prime Video.
