Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

I think this foreshadows Claire getting the blue light. We have to remember that Roger’s throat isn’t fully healed just yet. This is something that Claire could figure out how to do once her hair turns white.

I also think it’s foreshadowing that there are far more time travelers out there. Some of them recognize each other, and I think the reminders of McEwan are to help us remember his story and how he could recognize other time travelers. It foreshadows things for Mandy. She has that gift too.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

I would like to see the chapter used in the TV series. I think McEwan may show up as we may see Buck’s heart problems. That will then allow the blue light to appear. However, we know that Roger’s throat has healed in the TV series, so there’s no need for that part of it.

That being said, I think McEwan holds a few clues into the theories of time travel. I want to see him included so that Roger can think more about the rules and have this conversation with Claire. There should be time for it.
