Jemmy has been taken, and now Roger and Bree need to figure out how to save him in Outlander Season 7. Will it mean a trip through the stones?
In Outlander Season 7, Episode 7, Roger and Bree’s greatest fears as parents came true. Their son was taken. Rob Cameron seems to have taken Jemmy through the stones.
There are a lot of questions here. When has Rob taken Jemmy, and why would they go through time? What is there in the past that Rob would want that he can’t get in the present day? I’m sure we’ll get some answers soon, but for now, Roger and Bree need to do what they can to save their son.
Will Roger go through the stones in Outlander?
It looks like from the promo that Roger is ready to head back in time to save Jemmy. This isn’t the first time he’s gone through the stones for someone else. He went back in time to save Bree when he learned that she had gone back in time to tell Claire and Jamie about the obituary. Roger didn’t want to be in the past then, and he doesn’t want to be in the past now.
The promo shows us that he pulls out a box full of the clothes the family wore from the past. He’s later seen wearing them while at the stones. He promises Bree to bring Jemmy back. That suggests that only Roger is going. Well, Buck could go too, but Bree isn’t going.
Brianna staying in the present day makes sense. What if Rob and Jemmy get back to the present day at some point? What if Jemmy finds his own way back? What if he hasn’t gone through the stones at all? Then there’s the fact that time travel is dangerous and Bree wouldn’t want to take Mandy through to find Jemmy if she doesn’t have to. It’s safer for Roger to go through.
Things are certainly getting tense just as we get to the midseason finale. It makes it clear that Outlander Season 7B is going to be one to watch!
