The Outlander Season 7A finale is almost here. You won’t want to miss a beat of the episode, especially once you see these Outlander spoilers.
While we have a week off, Outlander has made sure that we’re ready for the events that are to come. The midseason finale is just around the corner, plunging us into another Droughtlander. It’s clear that there is a lot of ground to cover and a lot of questions to ask.
As usual, we have a promo and a synopsis to get us through to the next episode. They give us some sort of idea of what to expect. For those who have read the books, you know a lot more, but this is all based on what we see in the promotional material for the episode.
Outlander spoilers: 7×08 promo
The promo tells us a few things and one of those is extremely concerning. We saw Jamie on the battlefield at the end of the previous episode. In the promo, someone turns him over. Claire sees him, and he certainly looks dead. Is that possible?
There is a moment at the end of the promo where Claire pulls out a sword and holds it up. It looks like she’s still on the battlefield in that moment, and it would suggest that someone is coming to loot the dead and Claire is trying to protect Jamie.
Then there’s a moment of Claire and Ian as Ian wants to confirm there will be another battle. It certainly seems like there will be. Ian and Rachel touch hands and it looks like they’ll kiss.
In the 20th century, the promo makes it clear that Roger is heading through the stones to save his son. He’s sure that Rob has taken Jemmy through the stones. Will Buck go with Roger? It’s certainly likely considering how much Buck has been Roger’s shadow since making himself known.
Outlander spoilers: 7×08 synopsis
The synopsis makes it clear that Jamie isn’t going to die. He is going to fight in the Second Battle of Saratoga, which is the one that Claire confirms with Ian that she believes will happen.
The other part of the short synopsis is just focused on Roger and Bree as they search for Jemmy. However, we know Roger is going through the stones. Bree will stay in the 20th century with her daughter, trusting her husband to get their son back.
"Jamie fights in the pivotal Second Battle of Saratoga. Roger and Brianna search for Jemmy."
