3 best Brianna moments in Outlander Season 7, Episode 5
Brianna had some scary and intense moments in Outlander Season 7, Episode 5. Here are her best three moments from the whole episode.
It was anything other than a fun first day at work for Brianna. She had a lot to prove to the men she was leading, and they weren’t afraid to haze her. That hazing led to her thinking about quitting, but that’s not something Roger would allow her to do.
We got to see the capable and independent Brianna that I’ve wanted to see for so long. She is more than a mother and a wife, and this episode proved it. Here’s a look at her three best moments from the episode in the order that they happened.

Needing to read the next letter
After finding out that Jemmy and Mandy talk to their grandfather in the graveyard, Bree felt the need to be close to her parents again. That led to her pulling out one of the letters. She and Roger had wanted to work their way through the letters slowly, but she needed this moment.
This is when she learns that Jamie and Claire are at Fort Ticonderoga. It’s a great way to connect the two storylines as Bree and Roger learn about what Claire and Jamie are doing through the letters they found a way to store for them.
Bree gets through the tunnel
Brianna was not going to let the men scare her at work. After being locked in the tunnel at the end of the workday, she remained calm and figured her way out. I just love how she told the adventurous part of the story to the kids, but told Roger the truth about how she felt afterward.
What stands out is the way Bree uses this to prove that she belongs at the workplace. After realizing that Claire likely went through this at Harvard Medical School too, Bree decides that she will be just like her mother, and sits with the men in the pub the next day.
Going into the graveyard
At the very end of the episode, Bree decides that it is time to face her fear. The whole reason she wanted to avoid the graveyard was if she found headstones for Claire and Jamie. She didn’t want to believe that her parents were dead, despite them realistically being dead for the last almost 200 years.
After everything that happened to her, Bree decides to head into the graveyard and talk to her dad, anyway. She places another stone on the cairn that Jemmy has built for Jamie, helping her connect to her father in a way she needs.
