Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

There is a little bit of foreshadowing in this chapter in Claire’s acceptance of being a conjure woman. She is coming to terms with being called that. In fact, part of her likes that. That’s probably a good thing considering she has powers that she will come into.

Her hair isn’t white yet. It is turning that way, though. There are blue glows to come, and I think this chapter is foreshadowing that.

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

I would love to see this chapter used in the TV series. Part of me thinks it will considering that goodbye to Adso in Outlander Season 7. I think we need that beautiful “welcome back.” Okay, maybe there will be no rat, but just to have Adso there to say hello is enough.

The one thing that will be different is Joseph. He isn’t in the TV series, but there is a way around this. We could see one of the Beardsley twins take on that role instead. The twins have been used more in the TV series than the books already, so I suspect that this will be the way to do this chapter in full.
