Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

So, the foreshadowing. It’s all in the use of Wattiswade. Of course, this was just something traditional at the time, but it’s worth remembering that Minnie’s father was a spymaster. In fact, Minnie did some spy work, which was how she and Hal met. It shouldn’t be too surprising to know that there is some spy work going on.

Amaranthus claims that Benjamin is dead, but we know differently. Is he working as a spy? Is this all alluding to that?

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

Will the chapter be used in the TV series, though? I think Amaranthus will come up with the way three books are being combined for Outlander Season 7. It looks like Book 9 will be the main focus for Outlander Season 8, and that allows for Amaranthus’s full story to come out.

She is connected to Benjamin, who is connected to Richardson. It’s clear that Amaranthus and Richardson could be working together. Richardson has made it clear that he wanted to trap the Duke of Pardloe by using his children or his nephew. Well, this is a great trap. I think we will see all of this play out for the drama. We need a big bad for the final season.
