Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

This chapter is more about getting everyone on the same page. It’s also about offering a little peace between Claire and William. He was always warm to Mother Claire, and we see that he is learning that Claire wasn’t part of the problem but pulled into it.

There is a little bit of foreshadowing, though. I see it in the way William refuses help. It’s very clear that at some point he will turn to the Frasers for help. He’ll remember that Claire made it clear that they are there, and Jamie lives up to promises.

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

I suspect we’ll see some of this chapter used in Outlander Season 7 or Season 8. I don’t think we’ll get all the medical situations, but I do think we’ll get the scene between Claire and Jamie. Whether it’s because William is searching for Ben and his wife and child, I don’t know. That’s going to depend on whether the Ben storyline is used.

This is important for the Richardson part. I really do think that Richardson is going to be the last big bad of the story. So, I think we’ll need to see how everyone has their own interactions with him in the way that everyone had their own interactions with Black Jack Randall and Stephen Bonnett.
