During Outlander Season 7, Episode 3, Young Ian made a choice that is going to have major ramifications. He didn’t want to make that choice, but he didn’t really have the option. He killed Mrs. Bug to protect his family. That was all there was to it.
Of course, we’ve seen people loyal to others decide they want revenge after such action is taken. Richard Brown went after Jamie’s family to get revenge for the death of Lionel. Of course, Arch was going to threaten revenge against Young Ian. Will he get it, though?
What was Arch’s revenge against Young Ian in Outlander Season 7?
Arch made it clear that he wants to take the person Ian loves the most from him. That means Rollo right now, doesn’t it? Young Ian doesn’t really have a love interest. While he had Emily, she chose someone else and Ian gained closure from that in the sixth season.
So, is there anyone for Ian to lose? Right now, there doesn’t seem there is, but it’s not going to stay that way. We just have to look at the promo for what’s to come. Young Ian and Rachel Hunter certainly seem to be flirting a little in that trailer. Is she going to be the one that Arch Bug goes after?
This is something that is sure to come up soon. Plus, if you’ve read the books, you know what’s to come. You know that Arch really is out for revenge, and Ian better watch his back. Arch is always lurking in the shadows.
