Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

This chapter is more about setting up the plot for Dottie. She needs to be with Denny right now. It also helps to set up the plot for Amaranthus to get up to a few things. It’s clear that she is a capable and curious woman. Something doesn’t sit well with her story already, and it’s like John knows that it could be trouble if they turn up. He’s more focused on his niece.

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

It turns out that Outlander Season 7 is set to wrap up Books 6 and 7 and tell a lot of the Book 8 storyline. That means Book 9, Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, will be predominately used for the last season. With how Book 9 ends, we’ll need to see the writers get to work on their own storyline just to wrap up the stories.

This could mean that the whole Ben storyline is actually used. I wasn’t sure with how much there is to fit in and how little time there is, but it would make sense to use the storyline if William’s storyline involving Amaranthus is also used. It all connects.

So, that would mean we get to meet Dottie at some point. There has been no mention of a casting for Dottie, so I’m excited to see that. She is a sweetie.
