The most recent episode was certainly one where you needed a whole bunch of tissues. It all started with the truth about Malva’s murder and ended with a major explosion. It’s time to look back at some of the best moments.

We’re taking a look at Claire’s moments in the episode. She was the one to find out the truth about Malva, and then she had to say goodbye to the people she loved the most in the world.

Like other top moment posts for the individual characters, we’re looking at this in order of the moments happening.

Claire learning about Malva’s murder

The truth came out at the start of the episode. Claire learned who killed Malva. It was Allan.

On top of that, she learned Allan’s whole story. It was sick and twisted, but Claire didn’t share her opinions all that much. You could see everything she was thinking on her face, but she didn’t tell Allan everything we were screaming at the TV.

Instead, she focused on Tom sacrificing his life for Claire because of Allan’s actions.

Realizing something was wrong with Mandy

The Frasers and MacKenzies were supposed to experience joy with the arrival of baby Mandy. That wasn’t to be, though. While showing the baby all the herbs in her surgery, Claire realized that there was a problem. Mandy’s nails were blue, and she immediately feared the worst.

I love how we saw everything running through Claire’s mind. She knew she couldn’t save her granddaughter, but he knows someone who can. It just means losing her whole family. Sure, Mandy will be alive, but it will be 200 years in the future.

Letting it all out with Jamie

After saying goodbye to Bree and Roger, we could see that Claire was holding a lot in. She was trying not to cry, putting on a brave face for everyone. It was with Jamie that she was able to be herself. She was able to let down all the walls.

I just love the connection that the two have. I know that a lot of people want to see more intimacy in the bedroom sense, but I love the intimacy in the emotional sense. Claire releases all the emotions she’s been feeling knowing that she is safe around Jamie.
