Brianna gave birth and met her brother in Outlander Season 7, Episode 2. Here are her top three moments from the episode.

A lot happened in Outlander Season 7, Episode 2. While it all started with the truth about Malva’s murder coming out, it ended with a massive explosion. For Bree and Roger, it involved a trip through the stones to their own time.

What took them to their own time? It was all to do with their daughter. Baby Mandy has a heart defect that only the future has the medicine for it. It did mean some emotional moments for the whole family as the MacKenzie realized what they needed to do.

Here’s a look at Bree’s best moments from the episode. After all, it wasn’t all sadness.

3 best Bree moments in Outlander Season 7, Episode 2

This is in order of the moments happening in the episode. It just too hard to rank them.

Bree finding out Mandy is sick

The start of the episode brings us the reason for Bree and Roger needing to go through the stones. They find out their newborn daughter is fatally ill. Only surgery in the 20th century can help.

Bree immediately realizes there’s a problem when she sees Claire checking on Mandy’s heart. That starts the emotional moment of learning the truth. We see Bree go through all these emotions as she thinks back on signs of her daughter’s failing heart. It’s everything we as mothers go through, but there was nothing Bree did wrong. When she realized the truth, she did what she could, even willing to go through the stones with just Mandy to keep Roger and Jemmy in the past where she believes they all belong.

Meeting William Ransom

After realizing they need to go through the stones, the Frasers and MacKenzies head to Wilmington in search for gems. That’s when Bree sees Lord John Grey with a British officer. That officer turns out to be William Ransom, Jamie’s son.

I love how Bree shows that she is her father’s daughter. She shows absolutely no sign that she knows who William is. Seeing a portrait is something small considering she is connected to Lord John Grey (and Jamie, who William remembers as the groom at Helwater). Then we have that moment where she tells John that she knows what it’s like finding out that who she thinks is her father isn’t.

Telling Jamie about Disney

Jamie wants to say goodbye to his daughter alone, and they get a night with the fireflies. This heads to Bree talking about Disney, telling Jamie all about Mickey Mouse. It’s something that Jamie quite get his head around, but it comes up later.

I particularly enjoy the way they move on to a discussion of what Jamie would do in the future. Bree shares that it’s something she’s often thought about, thinking that Jamie could be a printer in her time. Of course, Jamie has his own ideas. It’s such a beautiful moment between father and daughter.
