The truth finally came out in Outlander Season 7. Is that really the end for Allan Christie? Is there any way Alexander Vlahos could come back to the series?

Caution: This post contains spoilers for Outlander Season 7, Episode 2.

During the Outlander Season 7 premiere, Tom Christie confessed to killing Malva. Of course, Claire and Jamie both questioned the legitimacy of that confession, but they weren’t exactly clamoring to prove that he was innocent.

It didn’t take long for the truth to come out. We now have answers as to who killed Malva back in Outlander Season 6. It wasn’t Tom. Instead, it was her brother, Allan.

There was a sick and twisted story involving incest. We won’t get into all the details. It’s all about whether this is the last we’ve seen of Allan Christie. Is there a chance Alexander Vlahos will return to the show?

Young Ian kills Allan Christie in Outlander Season 7

Allan wanted to kill himself, but Claire stopped that. She wasn’t going to let another death happen on her watch. What she couldn’t prevent was someone else taking action.

Young Ian decided to kill Allen with one of his arrows. He’d overheard the whole confession, and he couldn’t just sit there and let this man live. Honestly, I think I would have done the same if I was Ian.

This really is it for Allan. At least, it is in the books. Of course, TV could bring back characters as ghosts or as figments of the imagination. There’s also a chance of flashbacks. I just don’t see any of that happening with Vlahos’s character. Allan doesn’t return in the books in any form, and there isn’t the time with the show to change too much anymore. There’s just so much condensed into one season.
