2. That reunion on the ship
One of my favorite moments, which is going to end up on the list of best Claire and Jamie moments of all time, is when Jamie gets to the ship. Jamie and Claire immediately embrace. All that fear and stress is washed away as they kiss.
The thing I love about it the most is the way the soldier is just like “that’s not allowed.” He can’t exactly do much to stop the two of them embracing, and it is likely a little embarrassing for him to see that sort of passion. It brings just the right level of romance and humor that we know Outlander for.
1. Tom Christie confessing all
If you don’t quite believe Tom’s story, that’s okay. Not all of it was true. Tom didn’t kill Malva, but he is going to take the fall for it. He can’t see Claire go down for something that she didn’t do, and he realizes that Jamie is running out of options,
I love the moment of him confessing everything to Claire, though. He shows that he listened to Claire’s medical knowledge and did respect it. He opens up about his past, showing that he’s not the terrible man he was always viewed as. We get to see a softer side, allowing us a chance to feel some empathy as he knows that he will be executed for his crimes.
