4. Roger meeting Wendigo Donner

For Roger, we see him ministering to soldiers and prisoners, which is where he meets a fellow time traveler. The moment is very similar to the way Wendigo found out if Claire was a time traveler or not. Wendigo asked Claire if she knew how Ringo Starr was. This time, Roger said a Muhammad Ali quote and Wendigo immediately recognized it.

We see Roger learn the story of what Wendigo did that night Claire was attacked. It matches everything Claire said, so he makes the choice to help free him. After all, all Wendigo wants is to get back to his home time.

3. Claire helping Mrs. Martin

Claire is brought to Governor Martin’s ship to help his pregnant wife. She quickly gets to work as a healer, but finds herself defending her past. Mrs. Martin knows all about Claire as the murderess, and naturally, she’s a little faithful.
