Men in Kilts Season 2 (finally) lands a premiere date on STARZ

It’s been a long wait to hear anything about Men in Kilts Season 2, but STARZ has finally given us a premiere date. Here’s all you need to know.

Get ready for a trip down under. STARZ has (finally!) revealed the premiere date for Men in Kilts Season 2. This is a season that wrapped production back in January 2022. While post-production would take some time, we were not expecting this long wait.

The show is going to help us get through the first bit of Droughtlander. It comes earlier than the release of the second Clanlands book, which is set to hit shelves in November 2023. This does match the first season, which was released shortly before the first book.

When will Men in Kilts Season 2 premiere on STARZ?

Set your DVR for Friday, Aug. 11. The episode will air at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on the linear channel.

Got the STARZ App? Of course you do! It’s going to hit the app at midnight ET on Friday, Aug. 11. That means 9 p.m. PT on Thursday, Aug. 10.

The date is interesting. If Outlander Season 7 doesn’t have a one-week break, it means we’ll get get the finale on Friday, Aug. 3 and then Men in Kilts Season 2 premieres the week after. If there is a week break, it will mean the Outlander Season 7A finale airs on Friday, Aug. 11 and runs into Men in Kilts Season 2. Is it possible that it’s a 90-minute episode like other finales have been? That would be a great way to kick off the Men in Kilts season.

That’s all purely speculation, though. We can’t see STARZ’s August schedule in full just yet, but we will keep a close eye on it.
