Will Men in Kilts Season 2 be released in 2023?

We are ready to see Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish’s trip to New Zealand. When will Men in Kilts Season 2 premiere on STARZ?

There are a few things to note about STARZ before we get into this. The streamer has a lot of content to schedule out and very few timeslots to fill. This isn’t a network like CBS or ABC where there is a seven-night block of original programming. STARZ also doesn’t tell us a lot of what’s coming in advance. We’re looking if we get a two-month warning.

So, trying to figure out when Men in Kilts Season 2 is coming is difficult. STARZ hasn’t said a word about this show, but there are a few things to note about it and whether we could see it arrive in 2023.

Men in Kilts Season 2 could arrive in 2023

We start with a promo that was released at the end of 2022 to mark some of the arriving shows this year. It included Men in Kilts. That promo was quickly removed from social media, though. It’s still not clear why.

On top of that, we know that Outlander Season 7 will take a break. With the premiere in the middle of June, we’re looking at the part 1 finale airing around the middle to the end of August, assuming a one-week break is thrown in there. We know part 2 won’t premiere until 2023, so we’re looking at a six-month break at the very least, which is similar to the break for Season 1.

That six-month break would be a great time to bring Men in Kilts Season 2. The mid-point of the break would be perfect for those who need their Sam Heughan fix. Maybe we could suggest November, which is when the second Clanlands book is coming out. Wouldn’t it make sense to time the release of the book with the release of the show?

While there is nothing guaranteed, we do know that the second season finished production last year. There has been plenty of time to get it through post-production, so 2023 is certainly possible.
