Outlander Season 7 sneak peek: What do you say to a preacher?

STARZ is treating us to some Outlander Season 7 sneak peeks ahead of the premiere. Bree wonders what you say to a preacher.

As we inch closer to the Outlander Season 7 premiere, we are treated to more promotional footage. World Outlander Day (called that because June 1, 1991 was when the first Outlander book was published) brought us two sneak peeks.

We got a look at Jamie’s dreams in the first sneak peek. Now it’s time to focus on Bree and Roger. This is clearly months after the Outlander Season 6 finale based on Brianna’s pregnancy bump. Gotta love Outlander making it clear there’s a time jump with pregnancies. Marsali’s pregnancy bumps always gave things away.

Outlander Season 7 sneak peek: God luck!

Bree and Roger discuss what’s to come for Roger. There is certainly some humor in this, but it’s a big moment for Roger. He’s learning how to become a minister, and someone called Reverend MacMillan is the one Roger will need to report to. It seems that there has been some sort of history as Bree is worried that Roger won’t be okay with the man.

Roger points out that he’s now a veteran…sort of. He can claim that. Sure, he didn’t fight in the battle, but he was there for the build-up of the Battle of Alamance, and he went through worse than what some of the others did thanks to his ancestor, Buck.

I love that the two are modern people in the past. We can hear it with the “stealing sweeties from the Post Office” line. The people of the time will have no idea what Roger is actually talking about.

Bree then seems to have a look of concern on her face. What is she worried about? Well, she just has one question: what do you say to a preacher?
