Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

This chapter is certainly setting up the plot for Rachel and Ian to be together. It’s not foreshadowing anything that I see, though. We’re really getting to the point in the story where we need to wrap up the storylines ready for the next book.

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

I expect to at least see some of the conversation in this chapter used in the TV series. I don’t know if there will be much time to show everything that happens to Ian, but I would like to see him confess to killing two Native Americans to Rachel. I would also like to see the conversation about Geillis happen.

We know that there is something to come for Rachel and Ian in Outlander Season 7. That should lead into the final season. After all, Rachel is the Claire to Ian’s Jamie. The question is how much time there will be to show it all. There is still so much to fit in for these two, and part of it is going to leave us all heartbroken.
