Love Again age rating: Is the movie suitable for kids?
Sam Heughan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas star in Love Again. Wondering whether it’s something to take the kids to see? What is the Love Again age rating?
Outlander fans everywhere will have headed to theaters this weekend to see Love Again. If you’re like me and have kids, you’ll have to plan your theater trip a little differently. It’s important know if the movie is suitable for the kids or not.
That means looking at the age rating. Initially, you may think that it won’t be suitable for the younger members of the house. The official age rating may surprise you.
Love Again age rating
The Love Again age rating is officially set as a PG-13 movie. This means that it works for children 13 and above. Under 13s could watch it with parental permission and guidance. So, if you do have younger children in the house, you could take them with you. However, it probably isn’t something that they’ll want to see. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is also out this weekend and they probably want to see that instead.
Why is the movie given the rating it is? There is some language and sexual material in the movie, but nothing that would be too bad for children. There is no gore or violence to worry about.
This is one of those rom-coms that leaves people with happiness afterward. It’s designed to have people fall in love with being in love, and there will certainly be some subjects to bring up with children, especially when it comes to topics of honesty and communication.
It’s just probably not going to be something younger children will enjoy. Teenagers maybe, but I’d go see it without the kids in tow.
Love Again is currently out in theaters to watch.
