Who is Sam Heughan in Love Again?

Sam Heughan is the male lead in the upcoming rom-com Love Again. Who will he play in the movie, and what can we expect during it?

If you remember the announcement that Sam Heughan had landed the male lead role in Text for You, there’s some good news. That movie is heading to theaters soon, but it’s under a different name.

It did change its title to It’s All Coming Back at one point, but it’s changed title again. The movie is now called Love Again, which does suit the storyline a little better than the previous two titles. We’ll get to watch it in theaters from Friday, May 12, and you’ll want to know more about it to see if it’s something for you.

Who is Sam Heughan in Love Again?

The Outlander actor takes on the role of Rob Burns. No, this is not the poet Robert Burns, although I get a sense that that’s the reason for his name. I’m waiting for a comment about it in the movie. The movie itself is based on the book SMS für Dich by Sofie Cramer, which was developed into a German-language film.

We don’t know too much about him except that he’s a journalist who ends up with a new work phone. That number he has is the one Mira Ray’s late fiance had. Neither of them know this.

Rob ends up captivated by the confessional texts Mira ends up sending him. When he ends up working with Celine Dion to write her profile, he decides to turn to her for help when it comes to meeting Mira in person. And yes, he turns to her when he realizes that he’s falling in love. Who better to ask than Celine, who has a wonderful love story of her own? It’s not like he can ask Jamie Fraser.

This is a beautiful story of learning how to love (again). You won’t want to miss it.
